Juliana's Dance Recital

Juliana started a dance class back in December and decided to take a Hip Hop class. She did really well and it all came to an end with the big recital this past weekend May 25th. The recital was held in Galveston at the 1894 Grand Opera House Theatre.

Juliana and her class did a Hip Hop dance to some hip hop music and their dance was called "Stronger Medley".

Below are a few pictures taken back stage and before the recital of Juliana and her classmates.

Enjoy!

My little bakers

Well tonight the girls made their own pizzas for dinner and then a big cookie cake for dessert.

They put on their aprons and sat at the table and prepared away. While the pizzas were in the oven, they broke apart the cookie dough and put it all on one tray and decided to try and make a cookie cake instead of individual cookies.

The pizzas came out great and the cookies I am sure will be delicious too. Here is a slide show of my little bakers in action:

My baby is really growing up now...

Well my baby is turning 3 in July but you would swear she was turning much much older than 3. Today she rode her big sister's big girl bike with training wheels. It seems like it was just yesterday we were pushing her on her tricycle...oh we were. However she's been pedalling the tricycle on her own and today daddy replaced the training wheels on the big girl bike and now she's pedalling and riding that bike.

Here are some pictures for you to witness it for yourself. BOOHOO! :-( LOL!

My Silly Husband...who I happen to love!

Well well well!

That's him...in the flesh and antennas I guess you call them.

That is my husband, the love of my life, my knight in shining armor!

His name is Walt and he's a nut. But he's a wonderful nut who keeps life hopping at our house. There is NEVER a dull moment at our house and the state of cleanness there at the moment is proof of that. LOL!

My husband is not only super silly but he is also the one person who can put me and my moods in check and settle me down when I am a little riled up about something, including being riled up about him. He is my rock and I'm not sure what took so long for us to finally meet and get together but I'm glad it finally happened. This man with the antennas on his head is the man I love with all my heart and am so excited to have as my husband, lover, friend...BEST friend and the father of my children.

Now that I've made you vomit, on to his craziness. I feel sorry for our girls when they are teenagers and start dating and really bringing friends to the house. Hopefully he won't embarass them too much with his silly antics, but anything is possible, I guess that'll be my time to reign him in. LOL! Our girls have a nickname for him and it is "Farting Monkey", you can just imagine why. He sings and dances all over the house and makes us all laugh like we have never laughed before. He threatens to show up at the girls schools wearing his pants hiked up high at the waist and a tooth blackened out and talking all funny telling everyone he's Juliana and Isabella's dad. I told him he's gonna get locked up in jail. however his silliness has been transferred to the girls and now the three of them try to outdo each other with silliness. The dog and I just sit back and watch the show.

He is the most giving, loving, caring person I know and makes light of life and enjoys every minute of it. This is what makes our life at home very interesting and we never know what's going to happen next and makes life exciting. The cartoon that best represents our family is the Spongebob Squarepants cartoon. He and the girls love this show and the lighthearted silliness you see in Spongebob and his best friend Patrick is what you will see at our house and just laugh.

Well that's it for now about my husband. Just wanted to pay tribute to him and let the world know how much I love him and his love of life and how proud I am of him as well.

I love you very much you farting monkey! :-)
