My Beauty Queens

What can I say? I have the 2 most beautiful girls in the world and don't they know it. As much as they love to be tomboys, they LOVE to dress up and be girlie girls and pose for the camera. These two are the most creative kids I know and let me tell you they come up with some doozies of things to do and say and what not.

I call them my beauty queens and my ham-it-up girls. Always competing for attention and who can outdo the other one for momma and dadda/mommy and daddy.

These two girls I affectionately call my daughters I love more than life itself and can't imagine a moment without them in my life. I miss them when I'm not with them and cherish every moment i get to spend with them. There are times where I am ready for school to start so they can go and I can go to work, but being away from them makes me miss them all that much more.

Here are some pictures of my Cover Girls...ENJOY!

Juliana's First Play

Well last weekend, March 29th I took Juliana to see her first "off-broadway" musical play. We took Granny and Aunt Sissy with us and had a great time. The play we saw was "The Putnam County Spelling Bee". Juliana got t-shirts and the CD of the music sung in the play, she dressed up in her finest dress and had a blast.

I chose to take her to see this play because Juliana is a great speller and was in the school spelling bee last year as a 2nd grader and was the only 2nd grader to make it to the 2nd round, WOOHOO! Adobe was the word that tripped her up and got her out.

This year for 3rd grade she was the class alternate for the school spelling bee. This means that if the person chosen to represent her class in the school spelling bee can not for any reason fulfill their duty in the spelling bee (or get deathly ill and can't come to school on that day), Juliana would be the one to take that person's place. Well that person was able to fulfill their duty so Juliana got a year off, that's probably good because it gave her a chance to watch the bee and get mentally ready for next year when she whoops some 4th grade butt in the school spelling bee. OH...oops...I mean do her best in the spelling competitions, give it her all and 100%. Sorry I got a little carried away on that one. :-)

Here are some more pictures from the day:

Bella had to put her dress on and get in a picture too.

Bella's First Movie

Today Bella went to the movie theater to see a movie for the first time. We went to see Horton Hears A Who and she had a great time. She sat through the whole thing and didn't move and ate her popcorn, drank her soda and then ate some of her M&M's, I was very proud of her.

This first photo is of Bella before we headed to the theater. The rest are some photos at the theater and after the movie, enjoy!

This next one is of Bella outside the theater with her big sister in front of the Horton Movie poster.

Here is Bella in her seat with her HUGE bag of popcorn.

We just happened to run into Bella's friend Callie from school at the movie so they sat next to each other.

Here are all the girls after the movie, Delanie, Desiree, Bella and Juliana. A good time was had by all.

Happy Easter from our Family to yours!
